Childish Gambino’s whirlwind verse over Jamie xx’s “Rolling in the Deep” remix wasn’t enough for me. I had to hear more from him.
As well as rapping and acting he’s also a successful writer (he has a degree in dramatic writing and wrote much of the material for 30 Rock’s Tracy Jordan) and it shows in this. This is full of ridiculous one liners and punchlines. I’m not sure if he’s just messing around with this rap thing but he’s definitely got skills.
